Chamedora elegans – palma koralowa
An interesting potted plant with a beautiful appearance, light green, feathery foliage. In the wild, this species occurs in tropical forests in southern Mexico and Guatemala, where it grows under the crowns of tall trees. At home, the coral palm grows to approx 150 cm high. At the time of flowering, a shoot appears above the foliage, on which many are set, green-yellow flowers in the shape of tiny balls. This species grows very slowly, releasing approximately every year 2-3 leaves, which is an advantage in home cultivation, as frequent replanting is not required. Chamaedorea elegans stands out for its exotic appearance, and additionally has low cultivation requirements. The species represents beauty, an extremely elegant interior decoration. Thick plume, feathery, light green leaves look extremely impressive, therefore, the plant deserves to be placed in a prominent place.
Chamedora Wytworna is an easy-to-grow and undemanding plant, but it is also safe for animals and feels good in slightly darker places.. It is recommended to use slightly acidic soil for cultivation, fertile, permeable, drained, carious. We repot the plant only when it is time, when the pot becomes too tight for her. Chamaedorea elegans likes moist soil, however, it does not tolerate excess water, therefore, be careful when watering it. Can be fed with special palm fertilizers.
